I couldn't find anything in the memories (but I am pretty sure there have been related posts in the past that I can't seem to find now...). I am looking for a podcast to listen to to improve and keep up with Russian. I have searched google and the itunes store, but I am mostly just finding stuff for beginners. One podcast that I like is the Alex F. movie show (http://alexfmovieshow.libsyn.com/), but the sound quality is poor and he isn't recording any new episodes.

I find a lot of the stuff for native speaking Russians that I am finding isn't very interesting to me, or is too complicated. I like the movie show because it is something that I can relate to and something I already know a bit about so I can fill in the blanks about stuff that I don't understand.

I am not looking for beginners Russian lessons, rather I am interested that would challenge a high-intermediate learner - it could be designed for learners or native speakers. My listening comprehension is really quite high and so can handle some things for native speakers as long as the topic is familiar.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

A month ago, this question has been discussed in the professional forum SEELANGS.
It is summarized now on http://www.sras.org/library_russian_language#AV.
Take a look, you might find something useful for you.

The Russian podcast central is http://www.rpod.ru -- definitely mostly stuff for natives. Hundreds of podcasts, any level, any style, and those containing obscenities are clearly marked as such :) Even I post there some podcasts on jazz music (in Russian, of course) from time to time.

I like stuff from lingq.com

They have everything from beginner to high level. It's pretty good, but it doesn't provide translation, if I remember correctly. You can download from their website or from iTunes.

It's not updated that often anymore, but I love A Taste of Russian (http://www.tasteofrussian.com/). Very funny hosts, and all in Russian, aimed at an intermediate learner.
