Online Russian grammar book

For all you struggling, English-speakers, like myself, who are trying to untangle the mysteries of this great language of Russian, you may be interested in knowing there is a complete, online text available at this location:

It's not super detailed - but it covers, if only in a cursory manner, all the major elements of grammar. It even has a nice index at the beginning to help lead you to where you want to go.

The internet is an invaluable tool for assistance in learning foreign languages. I sure wish it had been invented and available when I was much younger, just starting out on this journey. I listen to Russian radio stations and watch online Russian TV.

If you Google the following keywords "Russian" "online" "TV" you will find several sites. Some of the video/audio quality isn't very good on many of them, however.

One thing I've noticed (at least for myself), I have a much easier time understanding men than women. It seems Russian women talk faster and blend their words together whereas most of the men speak in a more metered manner.

I know, I know - somebody is now going to call me a sexist.

Then again, I don't listen to my wife very carefully, either. :)

I'm not sure this is language-specific, but there indeed exist people (and I think most notably women) who talk very fast.

You'd be surprised, but for me (a native Russian speaker) Northern American women also sound totally different that N.A. men. I often catch myself speaking American English with female intonations rather than male, primarily because N.A. female type of talkativeness is quite close to Russian male type of talkativeness. I've no idea how to explain it in more details, though.
