Some random expressions

Hello everyone! I'm looking for some expressions this time, and my dictionary doesn't really help me much. It's always the wrong variant anyway when I use a dictionary >:[

So, how would you say these?

"do someone a favor" - "She did him a favor by not showing up at the party."
"to dress like a man" - "Anna dresses way too much like a man."
"look natural" - "Don't wear so much make-up, you are more beautiful when you look natural."

Also, the best word to use for "discrete", as in "He's so discrete about his sexuality no one knows he's gay."

"do someone a favor" - сделать одолжение
"to dress like a man" - одеваться по-мужски; одеваться, как мужчина
"look natural" - выглядеть естественно

discrete - in your example - скрытный. Он такой скрытный в том, что касается его (сексуальной) ориентации, что никто не знает, что он гей.

"make an effort" - "They do not need/do not have to make an effort."

"make an effort" - прилагать усилия
"They do not need/do not have to make an effort." - Им нужно/не нужно прилагать усилия.
In Russian this sentence seems to be incompleted. Better example: "Им нужно/ не нужно прилагать усилия для достижения цели" (They do not need/do not have to make an effort to realize the target).

mistake of mine! "They do not need" is for sure "им не нужно".
