Famous in late 80th - mid 90th Russian-German (in cooperation with Salamander) joint venture company, one of the first Russian JSCs. In 1994 Salamander has opted out from JSC, Lenwest still owes Salamander some millions bucks.
It was making shoes in Leningrad (that's why Len), using "western" templates (that's why West). Shoes were generally made better than Russian original footwear made on the same plant using local old technologies and templates. As of now multiple entities having in the name word Lenwest exist, but most of them are property or sales related firms.
Old Y'02 news says that "Vladimir Gorodny earlier worked at "Skorokhod" and was general director of the first joint venture in Leningrad called "Lenwest", now manages another footwear brand.

It's a place name. It appears to be both a palace and an avenue in St. Petersburg. It would translate roughly to Stony Island Palace / Stony Island Avenue.
Depends on the purpose. If I were giving you directions, I would say "Go to Kamennoostrovsky Avenue" or I would say that the office is located at 17 Kamennoostrovsky Avenue, but if you asked me what it meant, I would tell you it meant stony island avenue.
