Is there any way to add accents when typing with the standard Cyrillic alphabet?

Here is the only way to stress the letters: áéóúý

These ones: ударЕние, ударение, удар'ение and so on can be used, but it's not right. Ударéние - this is the way you should go! :)

But how do you make the accents? There has been some suggestions so far, but they haven't worked for me. I'm considering downloading a type with accents though, provided it will work in the program I'm using...
