Accents

Is there any way to add accents when typing with the standard Cyrillic alphabet?

Lamers. Under Windows, Alt+769 after the stressed letter. Warning: in Verdana font the accent mark is misplaced. And I recall that this question was asked and answered in this community recently.

And then simply Alt+769 didn't work. At least it didn't for me on my notebook.
I'm not sure exactly why (getting a face character) and that's with both Russian and English/US International layouts. At the same time Alt+129 results in a Б just fine.

However, I was able to copy the combining acute accent (U+0301) from charmap.exe and paste it in notepad.exe (yes, had to use the Verdana font too). However, the pasted combining accent combined with following character (to the right of the cursor) and not the preceding.
