Is there any way to add accents when typing with the standard Cyrillic alphabet?

It depends on what you call typing.
There are cApital lEtters.
There are clors, italic, bold, etc.
There are latin-1 letters áéóúý which you can use instead of cyrillic.
There's the combining acute acent character U+769 (наприме́р → наприме́р).
Finally, you can use backspace+apostrophe on the typewriter or printer.
Etc, etc, etc.
