 Hey there!  If I want to use the phrase Как попасть ...  what preposition (if any) and what case is the word that follows?

Как попасть в + accusative (как попасть в город Дмитров? Как попасть в Германию без шенгенской визы?)
Как попасть на + accusative (как попасть на улицу Тимирязева? Как попасть на Московский вокзал?)

Note that "попасть" is not only "to get to," but also "to hit," so don't be surprised if "как попасть в Киев" is answered with "take your aim carefully" ("хорошо прицельтесь").
