This is also ok, but 'присоединился' = 'connect', betther to use 'вступил' = 'join'.

этО соОбщество - 1st, сообщество have a middle gender, so for them 'это', for male gender 'этот', for female 'эта' or 'эту'. And, 'соОбщество' - many russian words are composite, with both co-words having 'о' or 'а' at ends - со_общество.

There or 'надеждой', that is more correct, or 'надеждами' if you like to point attention on how many estimation you have.

'что я' - ok. 'улучшитесь' - you mus use or 'улучшу', or use a form 'мой русский улучшится'. And - 'русскиЙ'. Again you forget about different word forms.

In russian, word sometime has not-phonetical conscription. E.x. 'Еще' is leasen as 'Ищо' or 'Ищё', but right form is 'Еще'.

There you must use an different word. 1st, in such phrase betther to use potential word form - not 'что', this mean 'what', but 'чтобы', what mean 'for'. And not 'улучшитесь', this is multiple form, but 'улучшил_ся_'. Also, for correct phrase, better to place a word, describew, WHAT part of you must be improved - or 'Это очень важно, чтобы _мой русский_ улучшился.', or 'Это очень важно, чтобы я улучшил _свой русский_'. In both cases, 'русский' mean 'русский язык', but 'язык' is ommited for most compact phrase.
