I meant to say "They're all khimiki and poets at the same time," so I think the variation you offered of одновременно works quite well, thank you :)

Ah, I know there's a Russian word for this but I forgot it long time ago, and it doesn't seem to be понахватать. The word I'm looking for is "to greedily extend your hands as far as possible and take in as many things as possible to oneself."
