How do you ask where is the *nearest* of something. For instance, "Where is the nearest store?" or "Where is the nearest metro stop?"

Ближайший.
Where is the nearest store? - Где ближайший магазин?
Where is the nearest metro stop? - Где ближайшая станция метро?

Although it is not necessary and even not perfectly correct I usually say где здесь ближайший магазин. It is due to that I personally feel some lack of ritm and rudeness in saying just где ближайший магазин?
