where did you find the word "боны" ?

I am curious, because I've never heard of this word before.
(At least in the meanings you've mentioned.)

боны = бонхеды = boneheads

I think you can find much about them in Wikipedia.

"Bonehead" is also an insulting word for nazi skinheads, so "бонхед" must have been borrowed from that.

yes, in antifa slang this word is used to mean скинхеды, нацисты. but not in common speech. those who are far from all these fa-antifa battles would not understand.

Note that there is also a non-slang word боны in Russian: it means foreign banknotes as collectible items. The lore of collecting old and/or foreign banknotes is called бонистика (while collecting old and/or foreign coins is called нумизматика).

Yeah, there are original skinheads, who are antifachists, and boneheads, who are nazis.

First of all i would to join wolk_off's point concerning non-slang meaning.
Now: Бон (in this meaning) is delivered from a modern self-called skinheads sarcasticly ransformed to Bonehead
But it is quite difficult issue. Actually most of боны are just common hooligans unable to think different (also called "гопник(и)") posing their penal ideology as fascist or similar. In most cases they use it only as justification for accomplishing violent actions. (Sometimes unconscious under influence of those who find it advantageous) Also they bravely call themselves "Patriots" meaning offer of some potential defence from "outer enemies".
Other several denominations widespread in Livejournal anti-fascist communities and blogs: "скины", "наци(ки)", "фош(и|ы)зт(ы|еги)", "по(ц)треот(ы|еги)" (pejorative corrupted forms from "нацист, фашист, патриот"), "брит(оголов)ые", ""
IMHO, it is our serious social (and potential political) problem. Perhaps nationalistic views has been embeded in 80s in order to destroy USSR, and Russia further. :)

By the way, there is no reason to be aware of so-called Antifa as roumor suggested. It is just sub-culture expressing their own position as openly (and offten aggressively) as skinheads do - no more, no less. And of course, idiots and fan-boys occurs among them as frequently as among in any other sub-cultures.
