How would you say "automated word processing programs" in Russian? I'm supposed to write a 2-minute speech on it, but I don't know how to translate it!

The context is: "Computers are useful tools, but the widespread use of automated word processing programs in schools will eventually make people illiterate, as students will no longer feel any need to learn the rules of spelling or grammar."

Literally, it's something like "автоматизированные системы обработки текстов". But the Root of All Evil you mention here is simply called by a word that must sound familiar to you: спелчекер or спеллчекер :) Officially, it's "функция проверки орфографии"; the English word is still regarded as computer slang, but widely used, at least among those who work with word processors professionally.

i`m afraid it`s a bit late now.. but still
"it seems to me that while you can call a spell-checker "автоматизированная система обработки текстов", such systems are usually complex, and are designed for processing large amounts of text for a certain result (i mean something other than spell-checking.. sorry, can`t find proper english words to say what i want to say :) ), to my mind, this isn`t the most correct translation for "automated word processing programs" in current context. 'Функция проверки орфографии \ автоматическая проверка орфографии' or 'Текстовый редактор с функцией проверки орфографии' would be better :)"
