Do I have this translated correctly?

There were a couple spots that gave me some issues, and I wanted to make sure I got the meaning right.

The text:

Известны несколько типов наземных жилых построек телеутов: чум, пирамидообразное или усеченное каркасное жилище, нерешетчатое цилиндро-коническое, прямоугольные и многоугольные срубы с конической (корьевой) или четырехскатной крышей, постройки, плетеные из тальника, различные типы полуземлянок (каркасные и срубные), избы, сооруженные по образцу русских крестьян. Отапливались жилища глинобитной печью, внутри различались мужская и женская половины.

My version:

. A few types of Teleut housing structures are known: tents, pyramidal or truncated tent like dwellings, nonlattice cylindrical-conical, square or polygonal log houses with conical (treebark) or hipped roofs, structures braided from osier-bed, various types of semi-dugouts (tent like or log cabin), and huts constructed like those of Russian peasants. Male and female halves were delineated inside the dwellings, which were heated by clay stoves.

плетеные из тальника is rather "wickered" (like baskets) than braided
тальник is willow twigs - a traditional material for weaving (e.g. baskets)

I would use "several" instead of "a few".

Also, word "чум" is not just any tent, it's an "indian tent" and should be probably presented as "choom" (preserving pronunciation), it's an analog of american indian word "tipi".
