learn_russianI'm translating an opus on how blind people can create art, and the techniques and tools needed to do so. The bit in italics is what is giving me the most trouble.
Надев рамку на данную конструкцию и подтянув материю за выступающие за рамку края, получите в рамке туго натянутое полотно, покоящееся на основе из пластилина.
This is my best guess:
Having placed the frame on the construction in question and stretched the material over the protruding edges behind the frame, in the frame you get a tautly pulled canvas, which rests on the foundation of plasticine.
Am I close?
