Russian for "connect" and "password"

Dear Learn_russian

I need to send a query to a Russian colleague, but I'm not sure of the appropriate words for connect (in the sense of connecting from one computer to another) or password. The query is "If you still cannot connect, I will phone you with your new password." An online translator gave me the following -

Если Вы все еще не можете соединяться, я позвоню Вам с вашим новым паролем.

Is this correct?

I don't see a reason to alter все еще. And I'd rather say подключиться. Соединение for computer connection is a bit of a calque, that the Russian version of Windows is guilty of spreading.

Yes. But it's the root of many abstract verbs that don't seem to have anything to do with keys, such as заключить or исключить.

Exactly. Why not keep it simple? Besides, it's not even stylistically correct. You can испытывать затруднения, but not проблемы. Проблемы is something that у вас есть.
