[identity profile] chili-das-schaf.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] learn_russian
Hello!

I'm not a learner of Russian but need somebody to help me with a translation from English (or German) to Russian and back. From reading the rules I don't feel that this against community policies, but if it still  is, I apologize and will delete the post immediately.

Backstory: A girl from Russia who visited me and my family in Germany when I was a child got into contact with us after fourteen years. Unfortunately she doesn't speak German or English and my family doesn't speak Russian. In October last year we wrote her a letter with the help of  [livejournal.com profile] gailochka from [livejournal.com profile] communications and now she contacted us again with the help of her boyfriend who unfortunately only speaks very little English. We managed to exchange email adresses and now I'm searching somebody who would be willing to translate the email exchange between us from English to Russian and back.  I can promise that it won't be a flood of emails, just an exchange to get an update on each other's lives and eventually organize a meeting.

Many thanks in advance. You'd be doing me and my family a huge favour. I can't offer any translation helps concerning Russian, but if you ever need something translated from English to German and back, just ask.
