Could someone please explain which of these is correct and why it is correct and the other not?

"И, кроме того, нам всем стало очевиднЫМ, что у каждого имеется свой подход......."

"И, кроме того, нам всем стало очевиднО, что у каждого имеется свой подход......."

or И, кроме того, нам всем стало очевидным ТО, что у каждого имеется свой подход.

What about this version:

"для нас всех стало очевиднЫМ, что у каждого имеется свой подход"

vs.

"для нас всех стало очевиднО, что у каждого имеется свой подход"

Which is correct?

both frases make sense. but as for the 1st variant - it looks as you omitted "то" there - для нас всех стало очевидным то, что у каждого имеется свой подход.
or для нас всех стал очевидным тот факт, что... (... the fact...)

OK. Thanks for the explanation, I had been under the false conception that "стать" automatically required instrumental case. Now I see it depends on whether or not it is followed by an adjective (which qualifies a noun (pronoun) - ТО, ТОТ ФАКТ) or an adverb that qualifies the verb, i.e. "стать".
