I'm writing a thank-you letter to my Russian teacher for writing a letter of recommendation for me. Is anyone willing to take a quick look at it before I write it out? I don't want to have any embarrassing mistakes. It's about five sentences long, below the cut.

you should write something after "принятие".

s there some innuendo about принятие that I don't know about? Or is it just unclear?

yes its unclear. Its looks like formal letter so you need to explain like:

That sounds like a very bad case of bureaucratese.

"повысят мои шансы на получение стипендии" is way better.

it's not goods to use word "работают" twice in one sentense: Ваши курсы требуют много работы, но работают успешно
maybe it's better:

-- "по-моему" suggests significant uncerntainty, better say "Я уверен, что".
