I want more Russian people (or people who speak Russian, I don't care about nationality) to chat with on MSN. Any volunteers? My level is quite basic, and that's why I need more practice :)

I do, but my Russian isn't good enough for that yet. I can handle MSN, but absolutely not Skype ^^

Unfortunally, I don't have MSN, but I've got Skype and ICQ accounts. MSN is unpopular in Russia, everybody uses ICQ. Maybe you'd restore it?

I think I stopped talking to everyone on my ICQ list, and then for some reason, I was going to speak to someone, or receive a file from someone, and installed MSN for this purpose. And seeing how it worked I started to like it. I guess ICQ must have evolved since I last used it, but I prefer the MSN system where you have a chat window open all of the time and so on. MSN just feels less old for me :)

Ah, okay :) Well, seen as I already know two Germanic languages and a Romance language (French), I wanted my next language to be different from those two, and at my High School there was a Russian teacher. So I whined about it to the headmaster and we got a Russian class of two students. Studying languages is my hobby, and now I really find Russian beautiful and very interesting. I'm not going to use it for anything special. If I can use it somehow in my future job, I'll be glad, but it's nothing I ever think about. I'll be happy if I just get to the point where I can freely converse with Russians and read Russian literature without any problems :)
