I've got some more questions:

1. What is a "зарисовочка"?
   
2. I can't make sens out of this: "глазащи-то, глазищи"
   
3. набрякнли желваки (I've figured out bump, but what does the verb mean?)
   
4. в круговерти столичных площадей
   
5. спокойно и несуетливо двигалась
   
6. Почему она немецкой фамилией зовется, ещё не понятно
   
7. в колясочке (колясочка?) Is that a wheel chair?

What is a "зарисовочка"? - маленькая зарисовка

I can't make sens out of this: "глазащи-то, глазищи" - большие глаза

набрякнли желваки (I've figured out bump, but what does the verb mean?) Набрякли желваки - выступили мышцы на щеках

в круговерти столичных площадей - круговерть - торнадо

спокойно и несуетливо двигалась - без суеты

Почему она немецкой фамилией зовется, ещё не понятно - называется

в колясочке (колясочка?) Is that a wheel chair? - колясочка - маленькая коляска

3) not набрянкли but набрякли - literally 'ripened', i.e. became bigger
4)turmoil, - continious, fast and disorderly movement
5) lit. 'without fuss', i.e. with dignity
6) 'is called', i.e. 'why her name is German'
7) a carriage or a pram

2. глазищи-то, глазищи - 'boy, what eyes!' (e.g. big or greedy)

6. why does she have a German surname (literally 'why is she called by a German surname')
7. I guess it is a baby carriage or pram.

I'd like to add that diminutive forms of words like "зарисовочка" or "колясочка" not always mean something small. In russian we often use such forms to bring warm, carefull attitude into sentence.

в круговерти столичных площадей - "суета", в круговерте = в суете
