Hi guys. Would you mind looking over my translation? Any suggestions and corrections are welcomed. Also, I can't seem to make sense of the lat sentence. Any ideas?

Foreign language students from the Kharkov automobile institute have hired assistants: sound and even noise. They are employing new methods of learning at this institution of higher education. What is it based upon? Their technique demonstrates that uninterrupted speech is most effectively grasped when heard in 3-5 minute sessions. Then you you should have a break. Then it's necessary to shake oneself, which is helped with the noise of an alarm. Words and texts are memorized in short associations with skillfully chosen noises – music, the sound of the ocean, the warbling of a nightingale… In the future, the memory of such words and phrases will be faster helped and coaxed out of memory as if they emerged together with sound.

I'm too sleepy to be much of help right now, but these just caught my eye:

На чем она основана
воспринимается на слух в течение 3-5 минут
then you should have a break - затем необходим перерыв
вместе со звуками

The last one is approximately like that (sorry for my English but I tried to relate the meaning):
And further on, such associations would help to "fish" out of memory the necessary words or the complete phrases: it is as if they come up the memory surface along with the sounds.

В этот момент важно встряхнуться – здест и помогает шумовой сигнал.
Then it is important to buck up/cheer up and the noise signal should help here. (they do not mean alarm, just one of those noises mentioned in the next phrase)

When students from the Kharkov Auto Institute study foreign languages, they use sound and even noise as learning aids. Their college has developed a new methodology. What is it based on? It has been shown that one can effectively perceive continuous speech only for 3 to 5 minutes. Then one's senses begin to dull. At that moment it is important to change your routine, and this is where the aural background comes in.
Words and texts are committed to memory in close connection with appropriately chosen sounds, such as music, the roar of the sea, or the warbling of the nightingale. Later this connection will help to jog the memory for the right words and whole phrases - it is as if they come up to the surface with the sounds.
