I know this must have been asked before, but I couldn't find much info in the archive.

I'm looking for online resources (preferably interactive) for an absolute beginner of Russian.

My sister just moved to Vladimir to teach English for a year, and knows the alphabet but not much else. She has private tutor time to learn Russian, but no formal classes, and no text yet. We're shipping her my old Golosa 1 and 2, but in the meantime is there anything free, online, she can do to build basic vocab and grammar?

This is the interactive website for my first-year textbook, Nachalo. It's pretty useful.
