I'm going to Russia next year on a GAP program (helping teach english), so I decided to talk to a few Russian over myspace and stuff. One thing I noticed is a few have been writing back and then doing this))) Is it just like a smiley face without the 'eyes' : or, something else? I'm just very curious and sorry if it's really obvious. :]

Well, I'm not sure about programs in the US... But I know for the UK, Australia and a few other countries there is a company called GAP (http://www.gap.org.uk), and they have all sorts of placements. I'm not sure of many others though. Maybe if you check out gapyear.com (www.gapyear.com), I think they have a few links around. :]
