Hi there.

Would you be kind enough to help me with some pronunciation queries.

The Russian phrases I have are as follows:

И сегодня тоже далеко не жарко.

Сегодня снова морозец.

Сегодня опять достаточно холодно

Сегодня опять очень холодно

Сегодня опять холодрыга

Опять слегка похолодало

I think, or hope, that the phrases are variations upon, 'It's a bit chilly/cold today".
If someone could do a sort of phonetic pronunciation that would be wonderful!

Thanks in advance!

Matt

The dictionary I checked didn't have морозец and suggested you might mean морозно?

Those are two different words: "морозец" is noon and means light frost, could be also poetic form, "морозно" is adverb and means "it is freezing".

Ahem. It is a noun, not a noon ;-)

И сегодня тоже далеко не жарко.

Sev(g)odnya tozhe daleko ne zharko (I would drop "И" in the begining of the sentence).

Сегодня снова морозец.

Sev(g)odnya snova morozets.

Сегодня опять достаточно холодно

Sev(g)odnya opyat' dovol'no holodno (I woudn't use word "достаточно" in this case).

Сегодня опять очень холодно

Sev(g)odnya opyat' ochen' holodno.

Сегодня опять холодрыга

Sev(g)odnya opyat' holodryga.

Опять слегка похолодало

Opyat' slegka poholodalo.

* "го" in "сегодня" should be pronaunced as "во" (vo).
