learn_russianHappy victory day! A few questions regarding it: Are there any standard phrases that you would say to an army veteran on victory day? Would it be different if they fought in WW2 versus were just in the army? Is there any victory day toast? Finally, I've seen 'The Cranes are Flying' and 'Come and See', what are other recommended movies about WW2 in Russian? Thanks all.

Also there is "the day of defender of motherland", 23'th Feburuary. That's the day wnen everyone who was in army are congratulated.
About movies: "А зори здесь тихие". That's a great movie.
