Can anybody give me the meaning of уничиженный? I can't seem to find this word in any of my dictionaries, nor online. Many thanks.

For context's sake:

But уничижать and especially уничижительный (pejorative, disparaging) are relatively common (although, mostly in written speech).

You must be thinking of "унизительный". It's different - "humiliating".
Although kind of similar.

I think I was thinking of униженный? when I saw
уничиженный I read it as униженный

and regarding унизительный ... they blended in my mind

униженный stems from низ (bottom)
уничиженный stems from ничто (nothing)

the meaning is synonymical, though - "humiliated". Just a fancier way to say the same thing, and in this particular case it helps the rhyme.
