Somebody asked for Russian dance music, so I thought I'd upload my collection, meagre as it is, so others could enjoy it.

Ruki Vverx, somewhere around 25/30 songs, including my favorite -- "Dumala."
Diskoteka Avariya, a much smaller collection, but it has the hilarious "Pei Pivo!"

These songs remind me of the summer I was sixteen -- so nostalgic! I hope you guys enjoy them as much as I do.

PS. If anyone has that Katja Lel song where she makes the kissing noises that was popular a few years ago, I'd love you!

Wow, thank you! Certainly there is more than one song called "Ruki Vverx", but the title reminds me of one with MC Vspyshkin and DJ Alligator.

"Vyshe ruki, hands up high, put your hands up in the sky" ... something like that.

you know, i suppose i do the same: i listen to the music that reminds me of the time spent somewhere... it's not the music that matters... :)

Just FYI

Two of your MP3's are mistagged (Things like this really bother me, so I fix them when I can).

They are "Время как снег" and "Лети" should both be tagged with the artist "Русский Размер". a while ago I downloaded a whole bunch of Русский Размер's songs while looking (in vain) for "Большая крокадила".

Why "vverx"? That should be "vverkh".

Using "x" like that is a bit unusual, but it's not entirely wrong. I mean, it's not as if "x" is used for anything standard in English anyway so I don't see the harm.

Furthermore, Latin-spelling Tatar orthography uses X in exactly this way:
Астрахань -> Ästerxan -> Astrakhan
буква "х"-> xäref "x"-> letter "x" ;)
