(sorry for not writing in Russian, my Russian is VERY bad)
At my school we have a club called Conservation Society, and we are supposed to make signs that have facts about recycling, and conserving energy/water. Like...You save a certain amount of water by turning off the faucet when brushing your teeth. Or something along those lines. We have signs in Spanish, French, and Japanese, and I thought it would be cool to have one in Russian, so if you know any facts about such things and can write them in Russian, that would be awesome! THANKS!

Give us the fact, and we translate it in Russian.

Straight out of my head, I can suggest the famous Russian slogan "Убей бобра - спаси дерево!"

Hey, it's not related to the environmentalism.

бобр is my absolute favorite word in Russian... It just rolls of your tongue and sounds so cool, and until now I've never encountered a sentence making use of it, much less an insightful slogan. Thanks BOB.

Каждое воскресенье американцы выбрасывают девяносто процентов газет годных для переработки. Таким образом они уничтожают 500 000 деревьев.

Бумага составляет наибольшую часть (примерно сорок процентов) наших отходов.

Каждый день американский бизнес создаёт такое количество бумажных документов что ими можно было бы обернуть земной шар двадцать раз.
