I can't figure out how to translate the following:

1. It's hard to live with a person like you.

2. You're not fooling anyone but yourself.

3. They only think about themselves.

4. They were laughing at themselves.

In general, can someone explain to me how to use "себя" properly?

In fact, it's С таким человеком, как ты, трудно жить. This way the emphasis goes to "hard to live". If you need the emphasis on "a person like you," it's Трудно жить с таким человеком, как ты.
