удивительная кошка
Feb. 2nd, 2006 07:14 pmI just read the poem that was just posted here yesterday, and thought it was really nice. So, I practiced a little, and recorded myself saying the poem. I'm just curious, what do you guys think of my pronunciation? Horrible, decent, good, great? I'm American, btw, although my ancestors are from Russia, if that makes any difference.

Date: 2006-02-03 03:31 am (UTC)The only other languages I can even pretend to speak are French, Spanish, and Finnish. And I've tried Danish, although that's more like mumbling than a language. :-P

I can hear the inflections, but it might be just my experience with learning languages. It helps at first to draw arrows where to raise the voice, where to let it drop, but first you need to hear it, later it becomes second nature.
