it's all about a russian (or french?) card game called "preférénce" ("преферанс").

"взятка" stands for bid and "мизер" stands for misère, special type of bid.

try to google for game rules if you need more details

yea, i like this game! It's really interesting sometimes, but not too easy.
And, about "взятка-мизер", it is termin from not onle preferance. It use in different cart-game. It means: minimum points, which you must to get in one "кон" (part of game).
