Nov. 22nd, 2005 11:52 amDear Folks,
I have a small favour to ask of you, which is (I hope) appropriate for the
learn_russian community - though in a less than direct sort of way.
Translation Help:
I'm teaching ESL every Wednesday at my local library and have been fortunate enough to have been recently matched with a Latvian student with fluent Russian. So, we teach eachother. :)
Unfortunately, I am away on business this week and will not be able to meet up with her. I didn't have the chance to translate a note for her before leaving (and hardly have the time or resources now), and my arrangements to have it translated by a friend seem to have fallen through as it is nearly last minute and I still have not heard back from them.
If one of you could please translate this for me so that I may pass the message along to her in both Russian and English I would greatly appreciate it. She is older, and I would like to show her proper respect by using "Bbi" and like.
Thank-You Millions!
Cheers, Rachael

Hello Natalia!
I'm writing to let you know that I am in Ottawa on a business
trip this Wednesday and unable to meet with you at the Library.
For next week, I have several useful books and flash cards
prepared. I think they will be very beneficial to both of us - and look forward to seeing you!
Cheers,
Rachael

Date: 2005-11-22 05:31 pm (UTC)
