I need to correctly conjugate the verbs: to wait, to ask, to send, to roar, to sing, to eat. I've conjugated them myself, but I want to make sure that I'm correct. Thank you!

how much conjugation do you need (says the girl with "501 russian verbs" in her lap?)
just the imperfective? in all tenses or just present? I wouldn't mind typing them in for you, for the practice.

just present. do you know of any websites that I could go to for just verbs? It's all just to double-check my conjugation.

This website gives all the forms of nouns, verbs, and adjectives. It isn't just a 'dumb conjugator' either, if a form is irregular it will know and will display that instead. (ie идти)

Well I just learned something. I wasn't sure if you meant to ring in american english (as "to ring a bell") or to ring as in british english (as in "to telephone" as well as "to ring a bell") and apparently they are the same verb in russian.

As for "to roar" - it could be either "реветь" or "рычать"

I didn't know that. cool. I was taught to use реветь. do you know what the difference is between the two(if any)?

Well, реветь is either "to roar" or a childish word for "to cry out loud", while рычать is "to growl" or "to snarl" -- I have never met this word used for translation of "to roar", so zloizloi was probably wrong here.

Well, what I normally see in Russian literature (if it's not the Bible with its "аки левъ рыкающий":))) is львиный рёв :) I have heard a living lion once and I have to admit that it was much more a ROAR (рёв) than a mere growl (рык, рычание) :))))
