Does anyone know of any places where Russian classes are offered in Massachusetts or Southern New Hampshire? I've been recently informed that UMass Amherst no longer offers Russian.

Think Boston- I took Russian while working at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education, and also at Harvard. Boston's pretty Russian-loaded, so I imagine you can find something there.

I see that Amherst College has a Russian department, and that it is a member of a five-school consortium that includes UMass Amherst. If you're a UMass student then you might be able to take a class or two up the street at Amherst.

Okay, I re-read it. You do understand that UMass Amherst and Amherst College are two different institutions, right? (No disrespect intended; I don't know if you're local to the area.) I was pointing out that although UMass Amherst may have stopped teaching Russian, Amherst College likely still does, and the two have a reciprocal agreement of some kind.

Oh, and it looks like Mt. Holyoke plays too.
