Well, my little dictionary says требоваться means "to be needed, to be required," but I don't understand how exactly to use this word. I remember seeing it when I went to a closed Берёзка, but I only remember "магазин требуется" and I forgot the rest... care to reconstruct? Any sayings or something that goes along with this word?

I also read an article from a friend of mine (through livejournal). Took me about 2 hours to read it. I found it silly that I'm learning Russian yet have no clue about what's currently going on there. It was about the Хватит Путина situation and I wanted to know what the following groups are: Яблока (why is there an a at the end?), СПС, НБП, ЦАО.

And I just want a clarification on the following sentence: "Слово было предоставлено Алексею Радову, мужу активиски НБП Евгении Тараненко, арестованной 14 декабря за захват приёмной Путина." Did he TRY to capture Putin or did he actually succeed? Or am I just reading it incorrectly?

LOL, Yabloko is a bunch of leftist dumbf_cks=), their support on the last elections was so small they were unable to gather 5% of votes which are required to win some places in State Duma.
And, Mikhail Khodorkovsky supported not only Yabloko, but also SPS and KPRF (Communist Party of Russia).
