Здравствуйте!

I am a beginning student of Russian and thought joining a community like this might be helpful when I have some questions since it seems friendly here!

Right now I am trying to memorize the declension patterns, can anyone help me find a good way to try to accomplish this? Sorry for I am very much starting to learn Russian.

declension is for nouns or verbs? (sorry, never learned english names for russian grammar)

it's "conjugation" for verbs: "declension" is for nouns.

I guess the best way is to pick a representative word for each declension and memorize patterns fro it. That will remind you the patterns for all other words or corresponding declension. Good luck

Well it's not so much that it's not clear as it's kind of a lot to take in seemingly all at once so I'm trying to find patterns as to how to learn the declension. Thank you for any and all help!
