Hello there. I've been sneaking around this community for a while - it's fascinating to read, and recently a topic came up where I feel that i have something worthwhile to say:
I run the only russian-language children's on-line radio station - http://www.detskoeradio.com It's available 24x7 (assuming my internet connection doesn't die), and playlist includes over 350 hours of materials. Mostly it's old russian children's stories digitized from vinyl LP's, as well as many children's songs. (Those of you who grew up 'there', as I did - 'happy' nostalgia for your childhood...) While many tracks that I play are songs (where they speak pretty fast), some are literary readings, and sometimes even readings for the very small children, where major brakes are applied to the speed. Some are meant to be 'бабушкины сказки", as if your grandma was reading them to you at bedtime.
Check it out, might be on par with other radio stations mentioned here in terms of educational goals:
