learn_russianWhat's the meaning of "Да здравствует?" Literally I know it means "Yes Hello," but I've seen this in both the CCCP Anthem (Да здравствует созданный волей народов) and on a poster depicting Red Oktober (Да здравствует всемирный красный октябрь). Anyone want to dwell in Russian history for me?
