русская музыка
Sep. 19th, 2004 10:26 pmЗдравствуите Все,
У меня есть прось... Ранее я думаю, что кто-то здесь сказал, что он любит слушать "русское радио" на Интернете (rusradio.ru). Я тоже думаю, что слушать русскую музыку очень хорошо студентам русского языка, а я не люблю музыка русского радио. Есть ещё места на Интернете, где я могу слушать музыка по-русский?
---
Другими словами: I think I read an earlier post here where someone wrote about how much listening to Русское Радио (rusradio.ru) helped him with things like pronunciation, and I totally agree that music is all kinds of helpful for learning a foreign language, but I jsut don't like the music they play on Русское Радио most of the time... are there other internet radio stations that play Russian music?
Спасибо большой

Date: 2004-09-19 08:55 pm (UTC)i like "nashe" radio (наше радио), its more of a rock rather than a pop music station type of thing. id recommend it. its a mix of old Russian rock bands and recent stuff. http://vozdukh.e-se.ru/nashe2.asx - link to listen to it online, if that fails to work try nashe.ru and click on icon "nashe online". In fact im listening to it right now.
Слушай нормальную музыку, бо "русское радио" попса позорная. Давай там, удачи
Nashe Radio

There are a few spelling mistakes like with "здравствуйте" (Й should go instead of И), "просьба" and "по-русски" (it's an adverb and you shouldn't mix it up with an adjective "русский"). Then the word "раньше" (it fits better than "ранее") is connected to "кто-то здесь сказал", not to "я думаю" (if you mean "I think somebody has said here before...") so it should come close to the verb сказал/говорил (the exact place is not that important, you may as well put it a bit later).
"Говорил" also seems to be a more proper word in this context than "сказал". It's hard to tell why (maybe because listening to the radio is a long-term process, not just an action), maybe other native speakers will comment on this.
The same is with the word order in the next sentence: it just feels more natural. In the original text the stress falls on "студентам русского языка" and it slightly changes the meaning (like if you said that listening to the Russian music is better for Russian students than for the others). It's really a difficult matter for foreign speakers so beginners don't really have to bother about this point.
Expression "студент русского языка" doesn't really work in Russian. It's better to say "студент, изучающий русский (язык)" or just "изучающий русский (язык)". Although if you say "студент русского языка" to a native speaker, you'll be underatood.
The word "музыка" here should end with an "у". Don't forget about the cases.
We use preposition "в" for expression "on the Internet". It's just a thing to remember.
Finally, the word "спасибо" is supposed to be neuter so you should you "большое".
I hope you won't get upset by my corrections. In general, the text is written very well even despite its difficulty. Almost all the cases are done correctly and so is most of the spelling. Keep learning! :-)

Date: 2004-09-20 03:29 pm (UTC)Нет, нет. Мене бесело, что ты исправляешь мою грамматику. Я здесь, потомучто хочу лучше говорить по-русскии. Так, спасибо. :)
One more comment, if you don't mind :)
Date: 2004-09-27 06:57 pm (UTC)Нет-нет should be written with hyphen, not with a comma.
And - МНЕ, not мЕне %))
"бесело", as I understood, is a mistyping of "Весело"? If it is, then it'd be better to say "Мне приятно" or at least "забавно" :))
"что ты исправляешь мою грамматику" sounds clumsy.. "что ты меня исправляешь" would be better..
And "потому что" must be written separately.

Date: 2004-09-20 02:24 pm (UTC)nashe.ru is a good choice, definitely better than "Русское радио" =), but (imo) modern Russian rock is mostly boring mainstream with few exceptions (like Tequilajazzz); they put on some old "glorious 80s era" songs (by Аквариум, Аукцыон, Звуки Му, Зоопарк, Ноль - my favorites), but maybe it's a better idea to search the web for mp3s.. personally, I'd recommend Гражданская оборона, often referred to as "Siberian punk", but generally their singer Егор Летов is most honest and mind-blowing russian rock poet today (imo again)..
F.e., "Прыг-скок" album (by Егор и опизденевшие, the side-project) with mp3s and lyrics is here:

Anyways, is it your cup of tea or not, good luck with your Russian studies =)

p.s. I don't recommend you to listen "Nashe" (if you want to learn russian, nor jargon)

Date: 2004-09-22 01:18 am (UTC)If you look for mp3s of Russian authors the good choice is Владимир Высоцкий: http://vv.uka.ru/catalog.html (choose "Записи Константина Мустафиди").
