It is old-russian. And I don't remember such word... May be it's his name or some church concept.

still doesn't beat "No Steps Backward!" vodka with the picture of Stalin on it that my friend got at a kiosk in Moscow.
It tasted just like rubbing alcohol.
Never buy vodka at a kiosk. No matter how Irish you are.

It doesn't matter where you buy vodka. Only thing that matters is good company where you drink it. But... if you buy "палёнку" - then you feel not well in the morning (also you can feel that when you drink too much). And as far as I live in Ukraine, I like "горілку з перцем" more.
Горілка з перцем ~ vodka with pepper in Ukrainian (Горилка с перцом in russian).
