There is plenty of Russian news resources - I mean Russian, made in Russia, not made in Europe in Russian, like this one:) RosBusinessConsulting (http://www.rbc.ru/) Interfax News Agency (http://www.interfax.ru/) Lenta.Ru (http://www.lenta.ru/) Izvestia Daily (http://www.izvestia.ru/) etc. etc. etc.
Let me see... there are two English versions of Interfax Newswire, they look different but I'm not sure I know them deep enough to define what the difference is: here (http://www.interfax.com/com?item=Rus) and here (http://www.interfax.ru/e/0/0/0.html). There also is a good English version of RBCNews (http://www.rbcnews.com/) which is more business-oriented than just general interest news. I'm sure there is something else, but those three were the closest to me :)
Thank you very much! I'll see... Sometimes my English friends asked about such links. They are learning Russian, but it's difficult for them to read news in Russian so far. But they are very interested in our life & I don't have enough time to explain or translate something :)
It's great because not only does it have 'news' it also has videos according to it. The passages are short as well, being more readable for beginners. Also, the site contains same news in variety of languages so you can compare them all together.
You need to have a better attitude towards other people's postings, Wolkoff, or else people will get offended. I've seen you doing it several times.
I just asked you what was so great about this site, and you just answered comprehensively. I really appreciate that. Is there something wrong in asking questions and receiving answers, Ms.Strict One? ;-))
I just have a problem with your tone. Maybe you don't mean to say it that way, but it offends me. This is the way I see it. I found a site that I think would be helpful for other people and I post it. Wow how nice of me! And you go on posting..."What's so great about that?" Well, hey, maybe some people don't know about all the sites you know about. A "strict one," look who's talking?? ;-)
Maybe it's time to get accustomed to the idea that people are different, do belong to different cultures, do speak in different ways, and not necessarily meet or exceed somebody's own standards of what people must be like. It's life.
Oh, please, don't make this into "my" problem. Because, quite honestly, "you" are the one with problems with other people. "You" are the one criticizing almost every post anyone posts!!
