Jun. 22nd, 2004 04:34 pmДобрый день! I just joined this community.
Here's my introduction: I lived in Ukraine until I was about 9. Then my parents wanted to move to America. Five years later we're still here. My Russian got a lot worse. My pronounciation is fine. It's my spelling and grammar that bother me. I also got really slow in reading. And I don't want to have the vocabulary of a 3rd grader.
So I found this community and I hope I can improve my Russian.

Date: 2004-06-23 05:36 am (UTC)However, I've never seen her write very much Russian, although she had no problems with reading me a Russian translation of "Little Red Riding Hood".
Just grab a Russian copy of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" and that'll get you back onto the Russian-reading trail. GOOD LUCK!
