As the learning is going slowly I decided one would would be a safe bet.

I put myself at a 3, but it's hard to know where you are on that. This poll would get better results if you had something like

1-you know some verbs and nouns and you know how to sound out words you don't know.

2- you can use verbs and nouns and adjectives in the normative, genitive, and prepositional case. You can talk in simple conversations about the weather and your apartment or home.

3. you know most the endings for the cases and when to use them, use verbs in the past, present, and future tense...

4- etc...

I think it holds true that, the more Russian you know, the more you realize you don't know.

I would have done that, but not everyone learns Russian in the same order. I learned verbs before noun cases, but others learn noun cases before verbs, etc. =) Anyway, I'm lazy. I'm sure I could have come up with a good scale, but it would have taken forever.

This is so true. I had to take a wild guess on where I am, and I'm probably wrong.

Ah, well. I was more interested in the results to the first question than the second. =)
