You may remember that a while ago, I started to post a few Russian words each week, then stopped. I found that the format was hard to keep up with.

A few days ago, I created russian_wotd. Instead of several words each week, I post one word each day, which I can't do here without cluttering up the community. The type of words posted will vary from very simple to technical.

I hope that this journal will grow into a place where discussions on usage and etymology are commonplace, but it can't do that without watchers. If you're interested, go ahead and friend. :)

We now return you to your regularly scheduled community.

You can cheat and use Babelfish's world-keyboard thing. I know a few people who do that.

(It only works for short passages or single words, though, since there's a limit on how much you can enter and you have to point and click, anyway.)

http://www.translit.ru will display Cyrillic as you type in Latin if you're using MSIE

*nods* i have it linked :) i forgot that i had it :D plus, i don't really write out enough of anything in russian nowadays to use it, alas.. need to get back to studying, i'm losing my ability! :D
