learn_russianI recently read that a mere 1.5% of people studying a foreign language in the United States are studying Russian!
On that note, I have gotten my friend interested in learning Russian now and possibly going to Russia. She bought a Russian CD and book, and she studies every night. She is still trying to master the alphabet, but she is so excited to be able to read and learn Russian words. It seems to have opened up a whole new world to her, and I am excited to see yet another person interested in this magnificent language!
