If someone has disappointed you in friendship, you might call them лживый, ложный (false), мнимый (fair-weather) or поддельный (fake, feigned).
I don't know where they got поддельный друг from but it's really wacky. The adjective is used to talk about false money and faked brands. :)
"You're a real friend" is «Ты - настоящий друг». «Ты – друг» is unusual; it could pass for a somewhat affected mannerism, but spoken by a foreigner, it will sound foreign.
Шапочное знакомство is a slightly old-fashioned expression.
A few typos: " for т at the beginnings of some words, and старый друг.
Otherwise, a very good overview. I can only add that someone on your LJ friend list is commonly called, guess what, френд. (The р isn't softened.)
