I studied Russian for four semesters about two years ago, and since then my skills have gotten a little, um, rusty. Next month, I need to take an exam in order to pass out of taking additional language courses in grad school. It shouldn't be too hard, but I'm desperately in need of some review.

Can anyone recommend any useful sites for brushing up on grammar, basic vocab, and the like? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just finished up my BA at U of M in Ann Arbor (where, I infer from your profile, you're also a student), and I'll be starting an MA program in English Lit at NYU in the fall. You're required to demonstrate proficiency in one language besides English, and they really don't care what it is.

U of M has an excellent Russian/Eastern European Studies department--I know because my supervisor where I worked at Michigan State graduated from there with a degree in Russian. Congrats on joining the "few and the proud," although as a Spartan alum I'm obligated to say Wolverines suck cock balls!

I was just wondering because I am also planning on grad school, and I am suffering through my last semester of Russian right now, and I was kind of hoping I could just forget everything =P

Well, I went to Michigan State for two years, then transferred to U of M, and I have taken Russian both places, so I don't know if that makes you like me more, or hate me more =P
