I am a new kid on the block here, but I have a query regarding the use of the instrumental case with быть and стать. I know that in certain circumstances it is necessary to use the instrumental after these verbs, but I am unsure of all of the situations whereby this is essential. I know that this is the case in the past and future tenses, but is it so in the conditional? So, if anyone could enlighten me, that would be great!
