My colleague started learning Russian. Could you recommend a software for a cellular phone (with Windows Mobile?) where you can actually hear Russian words pronounsiation? I've checked out ABBYY Lingvo x3, but didn't like it as there are too many wods without pronouncing. I also aware that there is a program by multitran.ru, which is my favorite online interpreter, but there is no audio support there. Please note that I need pronounciation for Russian words!

What about the word stress in plural and in cases other than nominative?
For example:

Word: рука (a hand)
Case Singular Plural
Nominative рука руки
Genitive руки рук
Dative руке рукам
Accusative руку руки
Instrumental рукой/рукою руками
Prepositional руке руках

As you can see the stress moves in the word. My bet is you need something specifically made to help learn Russian, something that lists the stress position for all cases and numbers. Lingvo doesn't seem to cut it.

You could probably find and download some dictionary, like
Русское словесное ударение by Зарва М.В.:
http://slovari.yandex.ru/dict/zarva (online, HTML)
http://depositfiles.com/ru/files/5855006 (scanned (not OCR'd, not searchable), pdf)
http://lingvodics.com/dics/details/1789/ (Lingvo LSD - you will need to register to download it)

Stressing correctly is part of that. I'd say wrong accentuation sounds much more awkward and coarse than slightly different pronunciation of a few sounds (Ш/Щ,Ы,Р, softened consonants) or sound clusters (a bunch of consonants in a row). Accentuation can be wrong in almost every word, whereas the nuances of pronunciation won't affect badly every word.

Listen to the radio and television, watch the movies, play the games.

I don't think written guides exist to help in learning accent-free pronounciation.

Isn't it, like, somewhat spoiled degree of expectations? :)

With a bit of an effort, one should rather learn the rules of written transcription and employ the knowledge acquired. It will be useful, anyway. Also, it's hard to grasp unknown words heard, if you strive to mimic the pronounciation while knowing little of the language.

Audio dictionary would be enormous in size, too.

I recommend my free video lessons:
http://ru.youtube.com/user/liveworda

You'll hear how the words sound and you'll see written words and pictures.
